The Grinch has been caught. Bellevue Police successfully thwarted the Grinch’s attempt to steal Christmas last Friday, Dec. 5, as the Grinch attempted to sneak through Bellevue.

A patrolman spotted the Grinch just after 2:15 p.m.

The Grinch attempted to flee, but the officer gave chase, deploying his taser and inducing the Grinch to surrender. The incident was captured on the officer’s dash cam and body cam, the footage for which was posted on the Bellevue Police’s Facebook page. The Grinch surrendered peacefully.
