The Montgomery Farmers’ Market is returning this year with some upgrades.
The market is expanding its footprint in 2026 to include dedicated platforms for holistic health and youth innovation, feeding its mission to connect local growers with residents.
This market is located at Montgomery Elementary School, at 9609 Montgomery Road, and runs Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from May 2 through Oct. 31.
This season’s expansion signals a deeper commitment to the side of its mission, transforming the space into a destination where neighbors don’t just shop—they grow together, according to a press release.
“Our market has become a jewel for the community, built on a combination of special vendors and shoppers,” said Dennis Hirotsu, the board chair for the Montgomery Farmers’ Market.
The market addresses the need for authentic human connection and community resilience. It connects local growers directly with health-conscious consumers while offering a safe, vibrant space where families gather and youth learn about money and entrepreneurship.
With the commitment to the well-being of its patrons, the market will debut a permanent Health and Wellness Booth this season.
This space will serve as an educational resource, offering rotating ideas, tips and demonstrations on how to maintain a healthier lifestyle. From nutritional guidance to mindfulness practices, the booth aims to bridge the gap between buying healthy food and living a healthy life.
“We want people to return home with the feeling the market offers greater value to the community than just providing produce,” said Hirotsu.
The Montgomery Farmers’ Market provides fresh, seasonal yields from local growers. It has been operating since the early 2010s.
