Homicide investigators with the Cincinnati Police Department are investigating the death of a man who was hit and killed by a train in Sedamsville on Feb. 6.
CPD said officers responded to the 2800 block of River Road Tuesday afternoon after receiving a call for a man struck by a train.
The man, later identified by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office as 41-year-old Daniel Bailey, was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s report lists Bailey’s address as “homeless.”
Cincinnati police told CityBeat on Feb. 7 that it’s too soon to tell if Bailey died by suicide or if his death was a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
