Fountain Square is the place to be for all things Cinco de Mayo this week. Cincy-Cinco Latino Festival starts the celebration at noon on Sunday with a flavorful family-friendly event that showcases Latino culture, tradition and values. There will be music and dance troupes from as far away as Peru, and authentic Latino cuisine. And if that doesn’t satisfy your Cinco thirst, skip the bar May 5 and spend the evening celebrating la cultura de Mexico at Fountain Square. Check out the LED Board for some real time Spanish television or get your Mexican Hat Dance on with Cincinnati’s favorite Latin band, ZUMBA! Be sure to enjoy traditional Mexican fare including fajitas, provided by Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant. Sombreros are optional. 5-9 p.m. Free.
