Mildred C. Fallen, a journalist who has produced stories for not only CityBeat but also Fox-19, Cincinnati Magazine and Visit Cincy, has been named as the chief operations manager for A Picture’s Worth, or APW, a nonprofit that works to foster strength and asset-based narrative change.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Mildred to our team,” said Elissa Yancey, executive and creative director of A Picture’s Worth, in a press release. “Her exceptional journalistic integrity, deep roots in our city’s cultural landscape and firsthand experience gathering community stories make her the perfect person to streamline our creative operations and help us elevate even more authentic local voices.”

Fallen previously worked as a digital content producer for Fox-19 as well as a contributing journalist for numerous publications throughout the Greater Cincinnati region. Additionally, Fallen had already contributed to APW’s work by working as a story gatherer.

“In that capacity, she conducted sensitive audio interviews with West End and Price Hill residents to help preserve community histories,” according to APW’s announcement.
