Cincinnati-based artist Nathan Singer has been scratching his creative itch in a variety of formats over the years — most notably through his work as an actor and playwright, his Rock & Roll outfit The Whiskey Shambles and his multifarious forays in literary fiction. Singer’s latest novel, Transorbital, looks to be another dive into America’s dark underbelly, the mysterious story of a lobotomist who drives his car, dubbed the Lobotomobile, across the country in effort to save — or is it infect? — those that cross his path.
