The Mount Healthy Police Department needs the public’s help solving an animal cruelty case involving a puppy, who was sealed in a garbage bag and left in the road.
According to a post on their Facebook page, the police department was called at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 after someone spotted a garbage bag on Werner Avenue that appeared to be moving. Inside was a “small brown and white puppy,” who had suffered injuries that appear to be from being run over.
The puppy is now at the SPCA and is receiving treatment.
