This Saturday, you can make tails swish instead of nets at the annual Mutt Madness adoption event at Washington Park.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can visit the park to meet some adorable and adoptable dogs, and maybe even add one to your family. Dogs from Cincinnati Animal CARE-Hamilton County Animal Shelter, SPCA Cincinnati, Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue, Animal Adoption Foundation and Protect 4 Paws will be up for adoption, and adoptions can happen on-site, making the process an easy slam dunk.

“We’re betting on Washington Park’s home-court advantage helping these deserving pups score their fur-ever home,” reads the event description.

And if you’re not quite ready to adopt, you can learn more about fostering. There will also be local, animal-centric vendors at the event, the opportunity to donate pet food and more. The event is free and open to the public.
