With Daylight Saving Time going into effect this Saturday, you’ve got an extra hour to party this Halloweekend. Make sure to take advantage.

HauntedHaus Party at Fountain Square
Saturday, 7 p.m., Fountain Square, downtown
Fountain Square is celebrating the reopening of Winterhaus in the scariest way possible. Expect a night filled with immersive decor, costume contests, spooky DJ beats, and more.
Sunday, 1 p.m., Paycor Stadium, downtown
The Bengals come out of their bye week looking to capitalize on their remaining schedule, which is the easiest of any team in the NFL. Theoretically, the 1-6 Tennessee Titans shouldn’t give them any trouble.
Bar Parties Literally Everywhere
Saturday, all over the city
It’s Halloween, so of course the bars are gonna be celebrating. While your favorite bar’s likely doing something, if you need suggestions: Igby’s downtown, Molly Malone’s in Covington and Japp’s and Nice Life in Over-the-Rhine are all hosting various themed parties.
Saturday, 10 a.m., Washington Park, Over-the-Rhine
You know the drill. City Flea is back, with vendors selling everything from vintage clothing to antiques to rare books all over Washington Park. This month’s City Flea is specifically fall-themed, and is the organization’s second-to-last event of the year. Spend enough time wandering around and you’re sure to find something you like.
FC Cincinnati vs. Philadelphia Union
Saturday, 2 p.m., TQL Stadium, West End
The only thing scarier than Halloween is how far FCC has fallen. After a rather disappointing loss in their biggest home matchup of the year against Columbus, two wins against D.C. United are just barely keeping the Orange and Blue’s postseason hopes alive. Let’s see if the boys can right the ship in their second-to-last game of the regular season.
Friday, 7 p.m. Andrew J. Brady Music Center, downtown
The iconic 2000s punk band hits the Brady center. Costumes encouraged. The Starting Line and Ultra Q serve as openers.
Friday, Cincinnati Art Museum, Mt. Adams, 5 – 9 p.m.
On the last Friday of every month, the Cincinnati Art Museum opens late and makes their ticketed exhibitions free as part of “Art After Dark.” This month’s edition, “Bump in the Night,” is your kickoff to Halloweekend. Costumes are encouraged. Throughout the galleries, docents await to tell you ghostly museum stories. If you’re feeling witchy, sit down for a tarot reading. Guests can also experience “The Art of Charley Harper: Creatures Wild and Tame” and “Nancy Rexroth: Secrets of My Power” for free during Art After Dark, which normally require a paid ticket.
Friday – Sunday, Dent Schoolhouse, 5963 Harrison Ave, Green Township
It’s the final full weekend to experience the most famous haunted house in the Midwest. The Dent Schoolhouse’s 30th anniversary is this year, and the classic institution is celebrating in several major ways, which you can read more about from us by clicking here.
Saturday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., 10542 E. State Route 73, Waynesville
It’s also the final weekend to experience the Ohio Renaissance Festival, so head up to Waynesville to be immersed in the medieval era, where over 100 different daily performances take place alongside fun activities like archery and axe throwing. Plenty of artisans will be on hand selling all sorts of Renaissance-era goods, too.
Friday, Pendleton Art Center, Pendleton, 5-9 p.m.
On the last Friday of each month, artists at the Pendleton Art Center open their studios to the public throughout the PAC complex. Experience what the center claims is the world’s largest collection of artists under one roof, featuring over 250 in-house artists selling their work to the public.
