Rhinegeist’s new pizza restaurant is officially open.

Titled “Pizza Time,” the 80s-retro-inspired pizzeria has 11 different pizzas on the menu alongside salads, sides, desserts and pizza-by-the-slice. It is located in the brewery’s taproom on 1910 Elm Street. Oct. 28 was the restaurant’s first official day of business.

Last week, CityBeat sampled nearly the entire menu, but staff at the brewery did not have an official opening date, only saying that it’d be “very soon.” Turns out that was extremely accurate, as Pizza Time is now open for business less than a week later.

“We’re trying to make sure that our guests can come here, have a happy hour, have a beer. Maybe two beers. Then have a couple slices of pizza, so they’re not leaving to go get dinner, or to get food somewhere else,” Ben Castle, the brewery’s VP of hospitality and finance, told CityBeat back in August.

“One of the other really big initiatives we’ve got this year is Bengals watch parties, and there is truly nothing better than watching football and eating pizza. So we’ll now be able to do that in a big one-stop shop here all year.”

The menu offers options for all group sizes, tastes and price ranges; while some of the larger pizzas run upwards of $20, a slice of cheese is just $4. Check out the gallery below for more on Pizza Time, or check out our deep dive from last week by clicking here.
