What:As part of the 2025 Duncanson Artist-in-Residence program, which honors the achievements of contemporary Black artists, Rich Robbins, a Chicago-based rapper, television host and producer, will be in town for two weeks of programming with the Taft Museum. Robbins will have opening and closing celebrations and much to do in between.

Washington Park is hosting a shopping pop-up on June 27 with the Greater Cincinnati Gay Chamber of Commerce and Cincinnati Pride. The free event takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature 20 “LGBTQ-owned and affirming” vendors, including &Sundries, Originalitees, Spice Spice Baby and Queen City Cotton Candy. In addition to shopping opportunities, the event will have DJs, food trucks, drinks and free HIV testing from Caracole. Free. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. June 27. Washington Park, 1230 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine.

Built in 1873, the Cincinnati Observatory is the oldest public observatory in the United States, housing fully-functional 19th century telescopic technology for the public to use. Seated atop Mount Lookout, the original building and the infamous dome added in 1895 are a significant fixture in the city’s history. Known as “The Birthplace of American Astronomy,” the Cincinnati Observatory is a bedrock for astronomical discoveries and advancement.
