Local psych-garage band The Silkies are headlining a show at Radio Artifact Friday to celebrate the release of their new album, “There You Have It. Lasting Peace” by Nashville’s Like You Mean It Records.
The band will be supported by Rodeo Boys, a Lansing, Michigan quartet that sounds like “what happens when the Miller High Life gets legs and starts walking around on its own” and Rachel’s Papers, a snappy and vintage-twinged local post-punk act.
The show will start at 8 p.m., and their new album will be available on both CD and vinyl at the merch table.
The Silkies are running a promotion for early ticket buyers:
