No Kings demonstrators gathered outside Cincinnati City Hall Saturday as part of the nationwide movement.

The protests are broadly critical of the Trump administration. Organizers called it a “Nationwide Day of Action,” according to the No Kings website.

The protests coincided with a rally that the president himself attended at the Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Ky. The rally precedes the upcoming midterm elections, in which key congressional seats in Ohio as well as the governor’s office are up for grabs.

Protests also took place in Fairfax, Milford and Oxford. Similar protests were held earlier this year.
