Enjoy arts and crafts? Well this is the perfect opportunity to see and purchase the works of 323 artists from across the country and Canada. Come out and enjoy the 42nd Summerfair held at Cincinnati’s historic Coney Island. It’s a three-day event, full of entertainment, art and fun. This event has a little something for the whole family and is a great way to honor some of the finest artists and craftspeople across the United States. You can expect to find an incredible array of art this year since the number of exhibits has been increased from last year to more than 300. Exhibits will include categories like photography, painting, woodworking, ceramics, fibers, leather and jewelry.
As if great art wasn’t enough, great entertainment will be provided as well. There will be bands, soloists, and dance and theater groups performing on each of the four stages. Local performers such as Raison D’Etre, the Cincinnati Sound Chorus, Country Step Cloggers and Celtic Rhythm Dancers USA will also be performing throughout the three days. Summerfair runs from 2-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the gate with children 12 and under admitted free.
