Many concert venues and clubs in Greater Cincinnati have been canceling or postponing live music events coming up in the next few weeks, usually through at least the end of the month.
The most recent update from downtown’s Taft Theatre stated that the venue would be postponing shows through at least April 5.
But Cincinnati Rock band Foxy Shazam has decided to go ahead and postpone its hometown comeback concert at the Taft Theatre originally scheduled for April 11.
The show — the group’s first since abruptly going on hiatus in 2014 — is now slated to take place at the Taft on July 18. The show sold out less than four hours after tickets went on sale in February.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce we will be postponing our show scheduled for April 11 in Cincinnati at @TaftTheatre. There’s nothing more important to us than the safety of our fans, band members & support staff. The new show date will be July 18, 2020. Stay safe xx FS pic.twitter.com/cm4WVB6NEm
