When tickets to see music sensation Lizzo at Covington’s Madison Theater this month went on sale in April, they sold out almost immediately.

According to Madison Theater’s Twitter account, that show has now been canceled so Lizzo can prepare for an appearance at the BET Awards on June 23. But fans who missed out the first time around will have another chance for tickets when the Pop/Hip Hop comes to Cincinnati in July to perform at U.S. Bank Arena.

Tickets for the July 26 concert go on sale Monday, June 10 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. Like the June 19 Madison Theater show, the arena concert is being billed as a “Loud & Proud 2019” show presented by local radio station KISS 107.1 FM.

According to a Madison Theater Facebook post, those who bought tickets to the canceled show will have their money refunded by Ticketmaster and also receive a code to get first dibs on the U.S. Bank Arena concert.

Lizzo’s album Cuz I Love You was released in April, her first music in three years. Hitting No. 6 on the Billboard charts upon its release, the album is the singer/rapper’s official major label debut (it was released through Atlantic Records). In a recent profile of Lizzo, Entertainment Weekly said, “Cuz I Love You is poised to turn Lizzo into a household name.” Now she’s doing arena shows — seems like she’s well on her way.
