We all have billions of words, thousands of stories that are often neglected for everyday exchanges. In a world that seems to be constantly filled with noise, are we all being silenced? Important People, a collective of writers, has come together to form a reading series that is more a communication device than a performance. “No Particular Menu: A Potluck and Poetry Reading” is their first event and will couple a collective activity with a poetry reading. Bringing a dish and/or drinks is recommended, but optional. Featuring Micah Freeman, Alexander Giehl, Matt McBride and Ophelia. 6:30-10 p.m. Thursday at the Third Party Gallery.
