Next time you visit Findlay Market, you may notice that one of the area’s few vacant storefronts has finally been filled.
soHza sister, a new boutique, has opened at 105 West Elder Street next door to the market.
Founded in 2013 by three sisters, soHza sister has been a pop-up vendor at Findlay Market for over a decade now. The boutique offers fair trade jewelry, purses and clothing made by women’s groups around the world, and part of the proceeds go toward support for local nonprofits serving women and children. Their first location opened at 124 West Pike St in Covington five years ago.
The new store opened last Friday and featured reiki sessions, live music and a belly dancer at the grand opening ceremony.
“After 10 years as outdoor market vendors at Findlay Market, we’re so excited to plant deeper roots in this community with our second location,” said co-owner Debbie Lupariello in a statement. “This new space gives us the opportunity to continue growing our mission of empowering and supporting women, both here in Cincinnati and around the world. Findlay Market has been such an important part of our journey, and we’re thrilled to begin this next chapter right here.”
