Put on Your Dancing Shoes for Salsa on the Square 520 Vine St., Downtown Bust out your best moves or learn how to salsa every Thursday night at Fountain Square during the summer. Salsa on the Square is free and features live local and regional Latin bands that specialize in salsa, merengue, cumbia and Latin jazz. There are also two large dance classes to help you get the moves down, and Mazunte is there to serve up tacos, tostados and guacamole. Fountain Square’s weekly Salsa on the Square event, featuring live local, regional and national Latin bands playing everything from Cumbia and Samba to Merengue, is back.

Things kick off this week with music from Salsa band Son Del Caribe and food from Mazunte, plus beer, wine and limited liquor for purchase.

Dance the night away downtown. And if you can’t dance yet, take a class from on-site instructors Salsannati.
