Accio, alcohol!
The fourth-annual Potter Pub Crawl through Over-the-Rhine invites muggles, wizards, witches and everyone in between to imbibe many potions as they make their way through the Drinkery, Below Zero Lounge, Mr. Pitiful’s and Treehouse Bar.
With social distancing in mind, the crawl offers customized routes per “house,” with colored wristbands to distinguish into which you’ve been sorted. The participating bars on the crawl will be themed to represent the houses, although this crawl is “in no way affiliated with” Harry Potter (probably a good thing given J.K. Rowling’s recent transphobic statements) so we’re hoping for knock-off names like Blytherin instead of Slytherin.
The Potter Pub Crawl will feature live-streamed trivia with cash prizes, themed drink specials, ticket-only access to several bars and DJs, and the option for a VIP ticket — which comes with a wizard-themed T-shirt.
Seem like a super-spreader event? Just make sure you have all three Deathly Hallows to become invincible.
The party takes place from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Pre-registration is available on Oct. 9. Tickets range in price from $20-$33 and are available online.
