Bob Saget, best known for playing the lovable Danny Tanner on Full House and Fuller House, is bringing his brand of in-your-face dirty humor to Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre this spring.
The former America’s Funniest Home Videos host — and author of the book Dirty Daddy: The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy Comedian — hits Cincinnati on Thursday, May 14. Expect the actor/comedian to probably pull out his guitar at some point in the show and definitely talk about co-star/friend John Stamos.
Tickets run between $39.50-$45.50 and go on sale this Friday at 11 a.m. via ticketmaster.com.
Saget talked to the Cleveland Scene ahead of a 2018 appearance about his G-rated reputation vs. his more R-rated reality.
“It used to be… ‘Oh you’re really not Danny Tanner?’ It’s like, ‘Well that’s absurd.’ What would he do on stage?” he said. “The fact that (some) people don’t understand that you’re playing a character, or that I played it so convincingly, so they thought that A). I wasn’t funny B). I never cursed, and C). I didn’t have a warped sense of humor, which is how I started when I was, you know, 9. So that just doesn’t make any sense. My whole thing is that people have fun.”
