Experience your morning stretches with a side of wild wonder at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s new Yoga at the Zoo.
Beginning Aug. 22 and continuing until the end of September, the zoo will host Saturday morning yoga sessions at Swan Lake, offering plenty of space for social distancing.
“The big lawn by Swan Lake is the perfect setting for relaxing morning yoga,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard in a press release. “It’s so peaceful before the Zoo opens, and the animals will be coming out and vocalizing right when you finish your workout.”
The $25 Yoga at the Zoo tickets include a one-hour yoga class a Body Alive instructor — complete with a special animal encounter, and admission to the park for the day. Zoo members will receive $5 off the class.
The sessions begin at 7:30 a.m. and guests are required to wear their masks when not “om-ing.”
The zoo is also kicking off their popular Beastly Breakfasts again on Aug. 20 and Aug. 25, with more dates slated for September. The breakfast package costs $119 and includes breakfast and discussions with curators at various animal habitats.
