On Thursday, Grammy-nominated country singer, songwriter and musician Tyler Childers announced a massive headline tour slated for next year, which will include a stop in Cincinnati.
The “Tyler Childers: On The Road” tour will hit Riverbend Music Center on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, and feature special guest country musician Hayes Carll. Ticket presale registration is open from now until Sunday, Nov. 17 at 11:59 p.m. Artist presale will open on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m., followed by general sale on Friday, Nov. 22.
Called “one of country music’s most compelling and unpredictable artists” by the Associated Press, Childers is in the middle of another landmark year after releasing his sixth album, Rustin’ In The Rain, which debuted at No. 10 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart in the fall of 2023. The album features seven tracks, including “In Your Love,” which is a two-time-Grammy, VMA and ACM nominee. The single has also broken into the top 35 on the Mediabase Country chart, garnered over 12 million video views, 215 million on-demand streams and received praise from outlets including NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Billboard, USA Today, Pitchfork, Stereogum and more, according to a press release.
Childers’ other accolades include seven Grammy nominations and features on CBS This Morning, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers, NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.
A dollar from every ticket sold will go toward the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund (HHARF) and REVERB. Childers, a native of Lawrence County, Kentucky, and his wife, singer-songwriter Senora May, established HHARF in 2020 to support philanthropic efforts in the Appalachian region. REVERB is a nonprofit aimed at reducing the environmental impact of live music.
