Prepare for a night of science and wonder this May with Neil deGrasse Tyson as he brings his “Search for Life in the Universe” lecture to the Andrew J Brady Music Center.
Tyson, an astrophysicist, author and science communicator, began studying the universe after being appointed by President George W. Bush in 2001 to serve on a commission that studied the U.S. aerospace industry.
As he furthered his career, Tyson became a monthly columnist for the Natural History magazine, authored 18 books and appeared as an on-camera host for PBS’s NOVA Science NOW, a program that taught the science that shapes our place in the universe, among many other accolades.
If that hasn’t convinced you to attend his lecture, Tyson was also named “Sexiest Astrophysicist Alive” by People in 2000.
“Search for Life in the Universe” is heading to Cincinnati on May 6, and tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com and bradymusiccenter.com.
This article appears in Nov 27 – Dec 10, 2024.
