If you have clothes sitting in your closet taking up space, head to the Cincy Closet Swap at the Tupelo’s Social Club at HighGrain Brewing’s Brentwood location Sunday, March 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and refresh your style.

The first-ever Cincy Closet Swap has a simple goal of connecting the community through this event.

Follow these steps to make the most of your closet-swap experience: Gather the clothes you want to donate (wash them first); grab any donations like dry and wet dog or cat food, toys, cleaning supplies, etc. to give Cincinnati Animal CARE; and come to the event to shop, connect with the community and enjoy delicious food and drink.

If you don’t bring any donations of your own clothing, but still want to shop through others’ donations, they are asking for a $5 admission fee. If you can’t attend the event, but still want to donate your clothes, you can donate at HighGrain Brewing leading up to the event.

Proceeds from the event will go toward Cincinnati Animal CARE. You’ll donate $1 to the shelter for each clothing item you take. All leftover clothes after the event will be donated to the local organization, The Triiibe Foundation, which is “a group of Artivists (artists/activists) dedicated to the positive representation of urban culture through growth, community, and creativity.”

All sizes, all ages and all genders are welcome to bring your reusable bag and shop ‘til you drop. You can learn more about the Cincy Closet Swap on Instagram at @cincyclosetswap.
