The completion of Ohio’s largest, and Cincinnati’s newest, mural will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 12.

The mural by artist Tristan Eaton pays homage to some of the biggest music legends who either are from or who got their start in Cincinnati. They include blues singer Mamie Smith, jazz-pop songstress and actress Doris Day, funkateer Bootsy Collins, the Godfather of Soul, James Brown and King Records legend Philip Paul.

The mural will span over 17,000 square feet.

The mural is located at 100 W. Fifth Street. The dedication will happen there from 10:30-11 a.m.

Eaton will be at the dedication along with Andrew Salzbrun from BLINK/AGAR, BLINK Executive Director Justin Brookhart and President and CEO of ArtsWave Alecia Kintner. Bootsy Collins will also tentatively be there.
