Skyline Chili is adding a new item to its menu. Skyline Chicken Chili offers a new protein option with the same flavor profile that has kept guests coming back for decades.
The Cincinnati chili chain made the announcement on Tuesday at its restaurant at Fourth and Sycamore streets in downtown Cincinnati. Starting Monday, Sept. 22, chicken chili will be available at all Skyline restaurants, as well as in Greater Cincinnati and Dayton area Kroger stores.
But, you can get a taste of the chili ahead of its official launch at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati at Yeatman’s Cove and Sawyer Point Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 18-21. The chili can be found at Skyline’s booth (#132). See the map here.
Skyline will also present the annual World’s Largest Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20. Skyline CEO Dick Williams, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Brent Suter and a few Skyline Chili franchisees will lead the tradition this year.
“Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is such a beloved Cincinnati tradition, and we’re thrilled to be part of it. There’s no better place to introduce Skyline’s chicken chili than at a celebration that brings our entire community together,” Williams said in a press release. “Plus, leading the World’s Largest Chicken Dance with our new chicken chili? It doesn’t get more Cincinnati than that!”
