While the best way to support local restaurants is by ordering your meals for carry-out, there comes a time when having your favorite dishes delivered to your doorstep is good for the soul.

And there are few things better than having tacos arrive at your home without barely having to get up off the couch.

These local eateries are offering their bites for delivery via various third-party platforms like Uber Eats, 53T Courier, Grubhub and DoorDash. Always remember to tip your drivers a little extra in these challenging times and continue to support your community businesses.

 

Mazunte Centro 611 Main St., Downtown Inspired by the vibrancy of Mexico City, Centro still serves the classics — tacos and tostadas, tequila and Topo Chico. But a handful of dishes exclusive to this location were added to the menu, namely tortas and tlayudas (imagine a love child between a Mexican pizza and a giant loaded nacho). Out-the-door-tacos for those on their lunch break and lingering evenings sipping tequila are both served with the same warm hospitality. Although folks in Mexico indulge in a leisurely meal and siesta midday and grab street tacos at night, Americans are more accustomed to working through lunch and partying after dark. Mazunte Mazunte is offering their tacos — along with all their other Mexican favorites like tostadas, tamales and enchiladas — for delivery through 53T Courier (the Centro location), DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats. Agave & Rye This Covington-based Mexican eatery is known for its outlandish taco creations ranging from kangaroo to duck confit. Their to-go and delivery menus are a slightly more streamlined, offering seven different taco options like their popular The Rooster with fried chicken, mac and cheese, Nashville hot sauce and sweet pickles. Nada Nada is offering all your favorite tacos and sides, as well as several “familia packs” that serve up to four people.
