If you’re looking for a place to yell “WHO DEY!” with thousands of people just before the first Bengals game, The Banks has you covered.
This Sunday, The Banks and Sports Illustrated are teaming up for a very special season kickoff tailgate ahead of the Bengals’ home opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The party runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Freedom Way between Race Street and Joe Nuxhall Way, giving fans three hours of live music, food, drinks, giveaways and Bengals game-day energy before the 1 p.m. kickoff at Paycor Stadium.
Additionally, there will be special areas on the street — the “Bengals Jungle Zone” and “Bud Light Tailgate Zone,” which will feature orange-colored Bud Light given out to fans — near the bars at The Banks. Local alt-rock band DV8 will perform all throughout the day.
At the event, fans can grab food and drinks, catch live music and take in the game-day (game dey?) atmosphere before heading into the stadium.
Throughout the Bengals season, similar events will be held for certain home games. The home matchups against Jacksonville, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, Kansas City and Baltimore will also feature tailgate events at The Banks.
