Cincinnati’s 43rd-annual Concours d’Elegance took over Ault Park on June 13, themed this year as “An Exhibition of Motorsports Excellence.” The nationally recognized show included a display of race cars ranging from open wheel and stock to those used in endurance and straight line racing, as well as racing motorcycles.
The show truly offers something for everyone from vintage and classic cars, to super-cars and motorcycles,” Ann Keeling, media relations manager for Concours dElegance, told CityBeat. “And for the first time anywhere since racing the 2021 Indy 500 on Memorial Day weekend is the Andretti Motorsports car driven by Marco Andretti. In addition to over 200 vehicles, the show features a craft beer garden and art show at Pavilion,”
Also on view was the Andretti K-Mart livery car from the 1991 championship season; microcars; original and modified Z cars; Jaguars; Lincolns; and plenty of classic, vintage and “exotic” automobiles.
In addition to cars, the event featured a craft beer garden for full pours or tastings from Fifty West and Rebel Mettle, as well as eats from Heart’s Hot Dogs, LaRosa’s, Midwest Best BBQ, Fabulous Funnel Cakes, Graeter’s and streetpops.
Proceeds from Cincinnati Concours dElegance benefitted juvenile arthritis programs of The Arthritis Foundation. Ahead of the main event, Concours d’Elegance held a Hangar Party dinner and car show at Lunken Airport.
