The Cincinnati Bengals’ home opener will be here before we know it. And the game on Sept. 17 against the Baltimore Ravens will look and feel a little different.
Fans can expect an elevated experience at Paycor Stadium this season, including upgraded concessions, new bars, vibrant murals and new video boards among other exciting changes, according to a press release from the Cincinnati Bengals.
This news comes in days after Bengals’ fans were named the Most Loyal Among all NFL Teams by Canada Sports Betting. (Kansas City fans came in at No. 6 and the Pittsburgh Steelers No. 24, according to the research). Who Dey Nation is getting a well-deserved upgrade.
“According to the NFL’s league-wide Voice of the Fan survey, the Bengals rank in the Top 5 in Season Ticket Member satisfaction and game entertainment with exciting enhancements being added this season,” the press release says. “Fans will notice the vibrancy of ‘The Jungle’ and ‘Cincinnati City’ themes throughout Paycor Stadium highlighted by new banners welcoming fans at Gate A and two reimagined bars on the east and west sidelines.”
The Paycor experience will be enhanced through various new banners, graphics and murals around the stadium. A new bar along the east sideline will add a social hub and refreshment options while the west sideline will see the Jungle Bar addition and a “complete reimagination” of the Queen City Taphouse. Fans will also have the opportunity to take photos in front of the jungle-themed set that Bengals players like Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase use in game-day hype videos.
“New video boards featuring an entirely new LED interface will wrap around the upper and lower stadium bowls creating more opportunities to showcase engaging content on gameday,” the press release says. “An interactive map on the Bengals App will enhance ease of navigation throughout Paycor Stadium for fans, ensuring seamless and convenient wayfinding with step-by-step directions to seats, concessions and more.”
In the name of reducing long lines and time away from your seat for refreshment and food needs, the stadium added 78 self-service kiosks, seven new self-order and pick-up locations and 14 grab-and-go stands. All concessions got a fresh look, according to the release and additional favorites like Skyline Chili options were added throughout while an all-new barbeque concept called Smoke and Sizzle will offer “authentic smokehouse flavors.”
“The Bengals continue to invest in Paycor Stadium to create a best-in-class gameday experience that currently ranks as one of the top atmospheres in the NFL,” the release states.
