It’s time to put a name to a snow plow in Blue Ash’s annual contest.

For the second year in a row, the city is hosting a poll to help name one of its snow plows. Earlier this month residents submitted names for consideration. Public Works employees have whittled the suggestions down to five options:

  • Blizzard
  • Snowy Votto
  • Patty the Plowtypus
  • Plowabunga
  • PLOWAGEDDON

Voting is open from now until Sunday, April 30 at 5 p.m. The person who submitted the winning name will be notified the week of May 1 and will receive a prize. You can cast your vote here.

The snow plow’s name will be unveiled and displayed at the 2023 Public Works Week Touch-A-Truck event at Summit Park Wednesday, May 24. The event runs from 4-7 p.m.

“It is fun to see all of your creative suggestions and it was a challenge to narrow the entries down to five,” said Public Works director Gordon Perry in a press release. “The whole staff is excited to see what name comes out on top and we hope everyone can stop by Touch-A-Truck to see the snow plow in person.”

Last year, the name “CTRL-SALT-DELETE” won the contest.
