Greater Cincinnati is once again turning into a mini Hollywood for the production of a new feature film, and you could be in it.

Film Cincinnati is partnering with New Media and director Shal Ngo to cast for the new movie, Control Freak, which is scheduled to begin production here this winter. Producers will be looking for actors to fill three principal roles:

  • The Sanshi, a costumed demon
  • Aunt Thuy (female, Vietnamese and around mid-50s)
  • Sang (male, Vietnamese and around mid-60s)

Production will also be casting 79 background actors and two stand-ins for the principals. If interested, principal actors should email casting director Abigail Esmena atnabi@auditionroom513.com with their name, the role they are interested in and their height. Background actors can apply here.

Principal shooting will take place in Covington and surrounding areas. Filming dates are tentatively scheduled for mid-February and will run for about a month.
