An annual event celebrating Cincinnati’s multiculturalism returns this September. Cincinnati Rhythm is happening Friday, Sept. 12 at Music Hall from 6-10 p.m. The event offers plenty of food, music and performances highlighting the many cultures represented in the Queen City. There will also be special awards for local community and business leaders.
“We celebrate new Americans who contribute to a strong regional economy and a diverse, vibrant community,” reads an event description. “Every year we hold this special event for the immigrants and refugees who call our region home. The event is a celebration and an opportunity to connect with friends, old and new.”
Cincinnati Rhythm guests can expect a variety of international food from Findlay Kitchen entrepreneurs from immigrant and refugee communities, including:
- Jay’s Nyam & Jam
- Jomun
- Lotus Street Food
- Rocky’s Home Flavor
- Sabor Alaniz
- The Arepa Place
There will also be live music, traditional dances and special performances from the Cultural Centre of India, Ijo Ugo, Son del Caribe and DJ Shemizo.
