It’s creepy and it’s kooky — mysterious and spooky — it’s Cincinnati Museum Center’s Halloween-themed After Hours event this Thursday.
After Hours is a 21+ series that allows guests to explore the museum after hours and enjoy themed programming and food, as well as a cash bar. In honor of the Halloween theme, don your best (and creepiest) costumes and bring your sense of morbid curiosity for an evening of strange science, mysterious specimens and spooky experiments.
“Beware of things that go bump (or bubble) in the night as you wander the exhibits, play assistant to the museum’s mad scientists and feel a chill from creepy curiosities,” the museum said in a press release.
The evening will feature a costume contest, as well as a scavenger hunt and music from Q102 DJ Nat Jones. The museum will also bring out its creepiest items from its collections.
CMC After Hours: Halloween Edition will run from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and museum members can get discounts. You can buy yours here.
