Crappy Ex? This Hamilton Animal Shelter Will Write Their Name Inside a Litter Box for Valentine's Day

Breakups can be crappy, but Animal Friends Humane Society in Hamilton is bringing back a hilarious fundraiser to make things stink less – or more, actually.

Now, we don’t want to shit on your ex, but a cat probably will. From now until Feb. 13, donate $5 to the shelter to have an ex-partner’s name written inside a litter box. Or, if there’s a person who pissed you off, you can have their name written on a sign to be pissed on by the dogs.

“Do you have a crappy ex? Did someone piss you off? Cheer yourself up this Valentine’s Day while making a difference for animals in need!” the shelter wrote on Facebook.

Animal Friends goes on to say that they will take a video of all the names written on the litter boxes and signs and will post it to social media on Valentine’s Day. The animals will take it from there.

There are two ways to donate to the shelter. One is through their Paypal here. In the comment section, put the poop emoji and the name of the person you want written down. Scorned lovers can also stop by the shelter to donate and add an ex’s name to a jar.

The shelter is also reminding people this is strictly for fun, so nothing derogatory will be posted.
