Like most good things in life, Cincinnati’s action-packed Danger Wheel event took a hiatus last year while the pandemic gripped the population.
But nature is healing, and the epic Big Wheel race for adults Danger Wheel will officially return to the streets of Pendleton this summer for its sixth installment, bringing 64 teams to barrel down 12th Street through obstacles and ramps while battling for the title of champ.
The event will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 31. Registration is closed for the event, but viewing is free and open to the public. In addition to the race, folks can enjoy bites from a variety of food vendors with plenty of drinks to wash it all down.
“Danger Wheel is organized by residents and will benefit the beautification of Pendleton, a quickly emerging neighborhood in the urban core of Cincinnati,” the event site says.
