Ride the Skystar observation wheel at The Banks with your favorite furry friend during Bark at the Wheel.
Skystar and a collection of local vendors and businesses are hosting a dog-centric adoption event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 7 with food, entertainment, learning opportunities and much more.
Dog owners are invited to take a ride on the wheel with their puppy pals; dogs ride for free. The first 300 dogs will also receive a free Skystar Wheel dog tag.
On-site services include dog adoptions from the Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society for people looking for their newest family member; training advice and demonstrations from dog trainer Lisa Desatnik of So Much PETential; and nail trimming, teeth brushing and tail chalk coloring from Beauty Bark Mobile Grooming.
U-Lucky DAWG hot dog food truck will be there selling snacks for people, and Pet Wants will be offering treats for dogs to get their fill as well.
The Cincinnati Circus Company will present dog-themed performances; Branded Woodworks will be selling dog-themed woodwork art; Vince Cincy, the Instagram-famous local Frenchie, will make an appearance; and Clifton PUPP will even be hosting a pop-up puppy park party. And that’s just a few of the vendors who will be there selling their wares or offering information about dog-friendly services.
Part of the proceeds from this event will be donated to My Furry Valentine and the Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society.
