Hoxworth Blood Center has announced their “Keep Warm, Cincinnati” initiative, encouraging Cincinnatians to donate blood or platelets and receive a free warm Hoxworth winter puffer jacket all throughout the month of December.

If you want to complete the outfit, donors who visit any open Hoxworth Blood Centers on Tuesday, Dec. 10 will also receive a festive light-up holiday hat to celebrate Hoxworth’s anniversary.

In addition to their apparel giveaways, Hoxworth is also hosting a variety of “Cheers to Saving Lives” blood drives, all of which will be held at local breweries like BrewDog Cincinnati, Rhinegeist Brewery, West Side Brewing, HighGrain Brewing and more. Each event will offer blood donation opportunities, deals like $1 beer vouchers and free cider tickets, and all donors can earn a free T-shirt, brewery discounts and gift cards.

Throughout the month of December, Hoxworth will also host specialty drives like the “Jill Bell Blood Drive” on Dec. 21, where all donors will receive a free voucher to the Fountain Square Ice Rink and holiday goodie bag in addition to their free, puffy jacket, and the “Eli Simpson Memorial Blood Drive” on Dec. 11.
