Sometimes the best light displays are ones you can explore while inside your cozy car. And Gold Star Chili, Cincinnati Xmas Lights and Captain of the Kids blog have teamed up to offer just that. The three organizations are providing a streamlined approach to traveling to the most decked-out houses in your area, while scarfing down some discounted coneys.
The Gold Star Express features four “must-see” routes across the Greater Cincinnati area, including a North of Cincinnati route, West Side route, East Side route and Northern Kentucky route. Each tour features 5-8 homes — some even have lights set to music.
The blog is equipped with addresses and a Google Maps route you can send to your phone.
In need of some sustenance along your festive journey? Each route includes a Gold Star “chili emergency” stop, where you can order a Coney Crate for $2 off (discounted price $19.99) just by mentioning the “Gold Star Express.”
