The Cincinnati Sports Club in Fairfax is slated to open an adults-only aquatic oasis. In May 2020. So you have a little while to work on that poolside bikini bod.
The 29-year-old health and wellness center is constructing a 21-and-up outdoor pool with an adjacent bar and cafe; they’re expecting to break ground at the conclusion of the 2019 season and open in time for the 2020 pool season. It will be the sixth pool for the club.
“The new pool will enhance our summer aquatic experience for adults, and its many unique features include: a new poolside bar and café, lounge pool with steps, shaded privacy cabanas, water fall and an adult-only whirlpool,” says Cincinnati Sports Club manager Heather Luttrull in a press release. “It truly will be an oasis for adults looking for a bit of relaxation or a summer staycation.”
The new pool will have more flexibility in operational hours, says Luttrull, and lap swimmers will be able to use the pool for morning or evening workouts. They also hope to extend the season beyond the average summer months and into spring and fall.
Note: You do have to be a member to swim and to be a member you have to apply, and be accepted.
