The Wonderland Parade will be a nightly addition at the Mason-based amusement park during WinterFest from Nov. 26 through Dec. 31, Kings Island said in a release.

Kings Island has announced it will be adding a new festive feature to its WinterFest holiday celebrations this year.

The Wonderland Parade will be a nightly addition at the Mason-based amusement park during WinterFest from Nov. 26 through Dec. 31.

Organizers say the parade will feature “more than 150 festive performers and eight floats with classic themes such as toy boxes, gingerbread houses and even a float for the big man himself- Santa Claus.”

Starting the day after Thanksgiving, you can get in the festive mood by visiting WinterFest, during which time the amusement park will transform into 11 different “winter wonderlands.”

There will be ice skating on the Royal Fountain, a tradition dating back to WinterFest’s original run in 1982. And the 314-foot Eiffel Tower will turn into a festive Christmas tree. The park says the landmark replica will be shrouded in over 5 million lights.

Up to 20 rides will remain open during WinterFest, including the park’s 3,265-foot-long wooden coaster, Mystic Timbers.

There will also be live entertainment throughout the park and tons of activities like carriage rides, ice carvers and Jack Frost’s Igloo Village
