As many of us turn to the natural world as a source of entertainment during quarantine (are bird feeders the new TV?), many may want to know more about what they’re actually looking at when they look up at the night sky.
Cincinnati Observatory astronomer Dean Regas is leading a livestream session on the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County Facebook page to teach people more about just that.
From noon-1 p.m. Monday, May 11, you can hang out with Regas as he reads some of his favorite astronomy stories, relates some constellation myths and “maybe throw(s) in a few facts from space.”
The library says you can also digitally check out his books, 100 Things to See in the Night Sky or Facts from Space!, on their website.
