FC Cincinnati’s Leagues Cup game against New York City FC on Monday night was about as nail-biting as it gets. Just when it appeared as though FC Cincinnati was going to lose their match 0-2 against New York City FC, they managed to come back (and then some), scoring four goals in over ten minutes. With a 4-2 win against New York City FC under their belt, FC Cincinnati is now the East 1 group winner. On Friday, FC Cincinnati will host a game against Mexico’s Santos Laguna — a game FC Cincinnati is favored to win — as they progress in the Leagues Cup.
