The University of Cincinnati’s women’s basketball team (11-5 overall, 3-3 in the Big 12) defeated the University of Colorado 65-59 in a epic comeback on Saturday. Bearcat Tineya Hylton had an electric game with a total of 27 points — 18 in the second half. Hylton sealed the deal with two “and one” drives that elicited an electric response from fans packed into Fifth Third Arena. The Buffaloes had higher shooting percentages than the Bearcats in every category but free throws, which ultimately led to the Bearcats’ comeback in the second half. The Bearcats made it to the line to shoot 26 free throws during the game, while the Buffs only shot four.
