Cincinnati’s historic pottery hub is hosting a Parisian café-inspired open house event this weekend in honor of Mother’s Day. The event will take place at Rookwood’s factory and design room in Over-the-Rhine 9 a.m.-4 p.m. May 10 and 11.
Visitors will be able to take tours of the factory to get a behind-the-scenes peek at their processes, watch hand-throwing demos and have the opportunity to check out Rookwood’s new products like the Flourish Pendent, Emilia Share Board and limited-edition hand-painted Abel Bunnies and Kataro Candlesticks.
“At the Spring Open House, visitors can celebrate the season and Mother’s Day with limited-edition hand-thrown pieces, artist demonstrations, and collaborative offerings from partners and brands we love,” says Rookwood President & CEO Micah Carroll in a release.
