Last month, Skyline Chili celebrated National Chili Dog Day (July 29) by releasing a limited amount of branded sneakers.
The local chili chain held a sweepstakes to give away 100 sneakers to fans who wanted to represent Skyline in every step of their lives. And because the sweepstakes was so successful, Skyline announced on Aug. 9 that they have decided to make the shoes available for purchase for a limited time.
The sneakers, which feature a blue background and illustrations of 3-ways, cheese coneys and the Skyline logo, will be available for preorder until Aug. 22 and will ship out in October, the website says.
The shoes are priced at $120 per pair and range in sizes from 3-13 for men and 5-15 for women. A small price to pay to be able to strut around with chili on your feet.
Shoes are only available for purchase 8/9/21 – 8/22/21. Shoes require 4-5 weeks to produce. Orders will arrive by end of September/early October. No returns or exchanges will be accepted as the shoes are made to order.
