Cincinnati’s Taft Museum of Art is getting in the spooky spirit with a special after-dark Halloween party

The free party will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 5-8 p.m. and invites guests to dance, drink, explore and create in the spirit of the season.

“Stroll the gallery halls of our nearly 200-year-old house and witness the art come to life on this haunted night,” the press release reads.

Hit the dance floor and groove to beats by DJ Nill, plus enjoy special performances by local dance group Pones, Inc.

The museum says guests are invited wear all black or dress up in their spooky best, but “costumes with masks that cover the entire face, glitter, or protruding parts (including wings, tails, swords, etc.) are not allowed in the museum galleries.” A team of Taft creatives will be on hand to help guests create their own masks.

There will be cash bar and small bites from local vendors like Patty’s Old Fashioned Popcorn and Dean’s Mediterranean.

Free parking will not be available during the event, so plan accordingly.

5-8 p.m., Oct. 23. Taft Museum of Art, 316 Pike St., Downtown.
