While there will definitely be some rain over the next few days in the Queen City, temperatures should remain in the 70s during the afternoon. Seems like the perfect time to get outside then, no? Whether you’re heading to Asian Food Fest like everybody else or choosing to avoid the crowds, there’s plenty to do this weekend in Cincinnati.

Asian Food Fest 2026

Saturday – Sunday, Court Street Plaza, downtown, 11 a.m. start time

Asian Food Fest finally returns to the Queen City this weekend. Now in its 15th year, the festival has grown from a small, one-room event to the largest celebration of Asian food and culture in the region. Organizers are expecting hundreds of thousands of people to descend on Court Street Plaza this Saturday and Sunday, while it’s filled to the brim with Asian food and entertainment. Why don’t you join on in? For more on this year’s festival, read our deep dive into what’s new and notable at AFF in 2026.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Detroit Tigers

Friday – Sunday, Great American Ballpark, downtown

Are the Reds… good? Despite their languid offense, the team is currently red hot (heh), sitting at the top of the division with a one-game lead. Yesterday’s win over the Tampa Bay Rays marked the first time the team had been 8 games over .500 since August 3, 2023—a stat that is both heartwarming and incredibly grim. With their hot streak in mind, there’s no better time to head out to GABP and root, root, root for the Redlegs.

Earth Day Celebration at Kennedy Heights

Saturday, Kennedy Heights Park, Kennedy Heights, 12:30 p.m.

Head to Kennedy Heights Park for a free Earth Day celebration. Art and nature activities are all over the park, Tri-State Trails will be offering free bicycle tune-ups and Cincinnati Parks will share a presentation.

Paddling Film Festival

Friday, The Mill Course, Winton Woods, 6 p.m.

A film festival all about paddling boats is hitting the city this weekend. Yes, you read that correctly. The Paddling Film Festival has been showcasing the best paddling films since 2006. Attendees are invited to watch and be inspired to explore rivers, lakes and oceans; push extremes; appreciate wild places; and embrace the paddling lifestyle. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the nonprofit Adventure Crew, whose mission is to connect city teens to nature and each other through engaging outdoor adventures.

Vintage Market Days of Cincinnati-Dayton

Friday – Sunday, Greene County Fair Events Center, Xenia

It’s a bit of a hike, but the largest vintage festival you’ll find within several hours of driving is this weekend. Vintage Market Days is an upscale vintage & vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market, featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home decor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings and even more.

Jane Austen Festival 2026

Saturday – Sunday, Heritage Village, Sharonville, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Fans of “Pride and Prejudice,” this is your moment. The second annual Jane Austen Festival returns to Cincinnati this weekend. Taking place in Heritage Village—the recreation of an 1800s town with 13 historic buildings from the era, located in Sharon Woods Park—the festival will feature a day out at the Village Faire, complete with lectures, demonstrations, games, duels and a costume promenade.

Boys 4 Life Tour at Heritage Bank

Friday, Heritage Bank Arena, downtown, 6:30 p.m.

R&B group B2K reunites for their 25th anniversary tour this year. Rapper Bow Wow co-headlines the tour, and Amerie, Yung Joc, B5, Crime Mob and the Franchize Boyz with special guest Pretty Ricky will all play as openers.

Water for Elephants at the Aronoff

Friday – Sunday, Aronoff Center, downtown

The critically acclaimed, bestselling novel comes to the stage this weekend at the Aronoff Center. After losing what matters most, a young man jumps a moving train, unsure of where the road will take him and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus, and a life—and love—beyond his wildest dreams. Seen through the eyes of his older self, his adventure becomes a poignant reminder that if you choose the ride, life can begin again at any age.

FC Cincinnati vs. Red Bull New York

Saturday, TQL Stadium, West End, 7:00 p.m.

The Orange and Blue take on RBNY in another home matchup. FC Cincinnati is currently 2-2-4 on the season, and in 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

DaBaby: Be More Grateful Tour

Friday, Bogart’s, Clifton, 7 p.m.

Who let DaBaby make a comeback? After derailing his once-ascendant career—he was on Dua Lipa’s song of the summer “Levitating,” if you recall—with legal issues and rampant outward homophobia, the rapper is attempting to make a return to the public eye. Unfortunately for Cleveland’s own, none of the music he’s put out in the last five years is any good. Honestly, he should “be more grateful” that he’s able to tour at all. But, hey, I wouldn’t judge if you randomly heard his 2018 hit “Walker Texas Ranger” outside and started dancing. I’d probably dance too.
