While Juneteenth celebrations rightfully take center stage this weekend, there’s plenty to see and do in the Queen City over the next few days.

Yart Sale: Yartlantis

Saturday, 4 – 8 p.m., Heart of Northside, Northside

“Yart Sale,” a long-running Northside event that gathers several vendors together to sell their art, goods and services, returns this Saturday. This weekend’s iteration is called “Yartlantis”—as in the mythical underwater city—and will feature over 30 vendors from 4 to 8 p.m. this Saturday at local event venue Heart of Northside, located at 4222 Hamilton Ave. Read more about Yart Sale here.

Cincinnati Opera’s Official Pride Afterparty

Saturday, 9:30 p.m., Music Hall, Over-the-Rhine

After this Saturday’s performance of Richard Strauss’s “Salome,” Cincinnati Opera will lighten the mood with drinks, dancing, laughs and surprises in Wilks Studio at Music Hall as part of their official Pride celebration. It’s the afterparty of your disco ball dreams, full of dancing, light bites and at least seven veils. For a calendar of all things Pride Month, visit our list by clicking here.

Hello Kitty Truck at Kenwood Towne Center

Saturday, 10 a.m., Kenwood Towne Center, Kenwood

If you’re the sort of person that obsesses over Cinnamoroll plushies, head to the Kenwood Towne Center this Saturday for the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck, which sells giant cookies and exclusive Sanrio merch. It will be stopped right outside the Cheesecake Factory location at Kenwood Mall.

Covington’s Taco and Margarita Festival

Friday – Sunday, Mainstrasse Village, Covington

The name seems pretty self-explanatory, right? Food trucks and businesses all over Mainstrasse in Covington will be slinging tacos and tequila all weekend long.

Savannah Bananas at GABP

Friday – Sunday, Great American Ball Park, downtown

“Banana Ball,” the baseball-esque performance where players dance and sing along to popular hit songs as fans catch foul balls that count as outs, hits Great American Ball Park every day this weekend. Call me a curmudgeon if you’d like, but I don’t see what’s so wrong with regular baseball that I need my pitcher to be hitting TikTok dances before he walks up to the mound. Regardless, if that’s your thing, there’s plenty of it in the Reds’ ballpark this weekend.

“Deal or no Deal: Live” at Hard Rock Casino

Saturday, 8 p.m., Hard Rock Casino, Pendleton

What’s weirder than playing this classic game show live and in person at the casino? Probably the fact that Bob Guiney of “The Bachelor” fame is hosting instead of Howie Mandel. Audience members will be randomly selected to play and win cash prizes.

Cincinnati Slingers vs. Las Vegas Rockers

Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Heritage Bank Arena, downtown,

If you haven’t heard, Cincinnati now has a team in the International Arena League, an eight-on-eight indoor football league that progresses at a much faster pace than regular NFL play. This weekend, the Slingers take on the Las Vegas Rockers.

Cincinnati Food Truck Association Fest

Saturday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Summit Park, Blue Ash

Cincinnati’s largest food truck fest—and the only food festival run by the truck owners themselves—is this weekend in Blue Ash. With over 50 food trucks, you’re bound to find something you like.

Hot Mulligan at the Andrew J. Brady Center

Sunday, 6:30 p.m., Andrew J. Brady Music Center, downtown

Well-known emo rock band Hot Mulligan stops in Cincinnati this weekend, with the equally if not more well-known punk band Joyce Manor opening for them.
